Group Class Registration
Our band program is designed for high school and middle school students who have prior experience on band instruments like drums, percussion, bass guitar, rhythm/lead guitar, keyboards, woodwinds, brass, and vocals. Our bands select and learn new music together and have opportunities to perform in the community.
Bands are are $385 per 11-week session for Teton Music School students, and $440 per 11-week session for non-Teton Music School students.
We provide financial assistance to qualified families in partnership with Boundless and One22. Please email for more information about the process.

To register, complete the Band Registration Form. You will receive an emailed invoice once your spot is reserved. Your spot cannot be guaranteed until payment is received. Please don't sign up unless you can commit to the full session.
Risk-Free COVID Policy - Band
The well-being of our students and teachers is our top priority. If Teton Music School must cancel band due to COVID-19 health regulations, or for any other reason, we will promptly issue a refund for the unused lessons.

Teton Music School Policies
Registration is open to students ages 6 and over. TMS will determine lesson dates and times based on several factors including a student’s schedule and years of study.
In the event that a student is absent from his or her weekly lesson, TMS will not offer a refund or credit the next session’s bill. If a TMS music instructor is ill or out of town, TMS does reimburse or credit those canceled lessons. If you know ahead of time that a lesson will be missed, please pass that information along.
Scheduling and Changes
We cannot change lesson days or times in the middle of a session. TMS does not reset the lesson schedule at the end of each billing session – students simply keep their same lesson day and time into the next session unless other arrangements have been made. If students need a different day or time, please give TMS those requests as soon as possible. We cannot change lesson days or times in the middle of a session.
Up to two makeup lessons (due to illness, family emergency, etc.) can be credited over the course of the academic year and can be scheduled directly with your teacher. If makeups cannot be scheduled during our regular TMS sessions, we are also able to schedule them during the first two weeks of June, once Session #3 is complete. Instructor absences will always be made up or reimbursed.
Code of Conduct
A positive attitude and responsible behavior are essential for the success of our students and TMS’s musical community. Students and parents must demonstrate a respectful attitude towards teachers and come to class prepared to learn. Proper classroom demeanor, including the responsible handling of TMS instruments, is expected at all times. In the waiting room, please use quiet voices so as not to disturb lessons in nearby teaching spaces. Intentional destruction of the waiting room, classroom spaces, or TMS equipment will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion from TMS programs.

Teton Music School COVID-19 policies
We are excited to be able to play music together and we have worked hard to make that possible. While it our goal is to work together to mitigate the possible risks of COVID-19, it is important to realize that we cannot eliminate every risk associated with in person lessons and ensembles. We have adopted and adhere to the following protocols consistent with the CDC guidelines.
According to the CDC, COVID-19 is mostly spread by respiratory droplets released when people talk, cough, or sneeze. This virus may also spread to hands from a contaminated surface and then to the nose or mouth, causing infection. Therefore, personal prevention practices like hand washing/sanitizing and staying home when sick are of utmost importance. If your child or anyone else in your household has any of the COVID-19 symptoms, such as a fever of 100F or greater, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, nausea, loss of taste or smell, sore throat or vomiting, please do not send your child to his or her lesson or ensemble. We ask that you communicate this situation to your music teacher.
Students are asked to come to the teaching space without his or her parent. If a parent believes that he or she must accompany the student due the student’s age or for some other reason, that parent should expect a staff member to perform a health check and temperature check of that parent as described below.
Face coverings (masks) will be required to be worn by staff and students, and are most essential in times when physical distancing is difficult. Cloth masks may be more comfortable, but TMS has a supply of surgical masks for those students who need them. Hand sanitizer will be available at all times and all students and staff will be encouraged to use it frequently. There will be no sharing of food or personal items (water bottles, clothing) while waiting for or during a lesson or ensembles.
Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned before and after each lesson or ensemble session. This includes piano keys, door handles, and other surfaces that hands may touch. Students should not share electronic devices like phones or tablets with anyone else while taking a lesson or playing in an ensemble.
Individual music lessons will be taught in the largest space available, and with at least 6 feet of distance separating the teacher and student to the extent possible. Hand washing/sanitizing before and after each lesson and each restroom break is required for each student and teacher.
TMS will conduct daily health checks of each student when he or she arrives for lessons or camps. Students with symptoms like flushed cheeks, rapid breathing, shortness of breath, cough, or sore throat will be sent home. Seasonal allergies are exceptions and need to be communicated by the parent to the teacher beforehand. Teachers will take each student’s temperatures using no-touch devices before allowing the student to enter the teaching space. Persons with a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit (38.0 Celsius) or higher will not be allowed into the facility and will be sent home. The teacher will endeavor to immediately contact the student’s parents to let them know the student cannot participate on that day.
