Ensemble Auditions

Students wishing to enroll in an advanced ensemble must participate in a placement audition. Audition requirements vary per ensemble - see below. To participate in an ensemble, students must demonstrate aptitude at their chosen instrument, a good attitude and work ethic, be a team player and have fun!

Rock Band Auditions
Grades 6-12

To be placed in an ensemble for the 2025-26 school year, students will join our faculty band for a friendly and supportive group audition. Please prepare the material for your instrument as listed below. If you would like to audition on an instrument that is not listed, please contact us.

Each audition time slot will be 30 minutes, with 6 students per audition time. Students will be called one at a time to demonstrate what they have prepared and play along with the faculty band.

What to prepare

Beginner Rock Band Auditions

Students in Grades 4 and higher who wish to perform in a band will demonstrate what they have prepared and play along with Elementary Rock Band leader Clint Weaver. All students who can demonstrate the minimum requirements are encouraged to audition. Each audition time slot will be 30 minutes, with up to 6 students per audition time.
