Instruments

Students must have access to an instrument for practicing between lessons.  While your teacher can always make a personalized recommendation, here are some of our go-to instruments and vendors:

Keyboards / Piano

If an acoustic piano is not available, we recommend a small electronic keyboard with weighted keys to approximate the feel of playing the real piano.

Lesson Materials / Supplies

Your teacher will recommend lesson materials, and we keep some lesson books on hand for purchase at TMS. We also have some replacement tuners, guitar and ukulele strings, rosin, picks and other supplies for emergencies.​
