Private Lesson Registration
Instrument Resources
Students must have access to an instrument for practicing between lessons. While your teacher can always make a personalized recommendation, here are some of our go-to instruments and vendors:
Keyboards / Piano
If an acoustic piano is not available, we recommend a small electronic keyboard with weighted keys to approximate the feel of playing the real piano.
Guitars / Ukuleles
Chesbro Music in Idaho Falls - (ukes for purchase only)
Mountain Music in Afton - no rentals, only purchase
Drums
If a drum kit is not available, we recommend a simple practice pad with a pair of drum sticks. There are also silent at home practice kits, which require a bass drum pedal and hi-hat stand (purchased separately).
Orchestra and Band Instruments (violin, viola, cello, bass, woodwinds, brass)

Summerhays in Salt Lake City - rentals and purchase (regularly drive to Jackson)
Lesson Materials / Supplies
Your teacher will recommend lesson materials, and we keep some lesson books on hand for purchase at TMS. We also have some replacement tuners, drum sticks, guitar and ukulele strings, rosin, picks and other supplies on hand for emergencies.
