SUMMER 2025

Teton Music School Instructors have designed a summer schedule of private instruction and weeklong camps to take students of all levels on a musical journey. Enrollment dates vary.

  • Private Lessons | Summer Session begins June 23 (Ages 7-Adult)

  • Junkestra! with Art Association | June 30 - July 3 (Grades K-2 & 3-5)

  • Summer Sing! with Melissa Elliott | July 7 - 11 (Rising Grades 6-10)

  • Summer Strings with Grand Teton Music Festival | July 14 - 18 (Rising Grades 6-10)

  • Arts Sampler I with DW, Off Square & pARTners | July 21 - 25 (Grades K-2 & 3-5)

  • Arts Sampler II with DW, Off Square & pARTners | July 28 - August 1 (Grades K-2 & 3-5)

Scholarships are available for all summer programs in partnership with One22. Additional support is available through Teton Music School.

Private Lessons
Ages 7-Adult

Keep your skills honed or gain a new one this summer with weekly 30- or 60-minute private lessons in piano, guitar, bass, woodwinds, voice, music production, and drums.

$342 - 30-minute private lessons, six-week session

$684 - 60-minute private lessons, six-week session

Junkestra!
Grades K-2 & 3-5

Discover “found sounds” to make your own instrument and play in our junk orchestra, the Junkestra! Art Association and Teton Music School are teaming up to bring you a student band with homemade instruments using objects from nature and recycled materials. Students will learn basic musical concepts with instruments, singing and simple movement in the music rooms at TMS, and they will create a variety of playable instruments in the art studios at the Art Association. Musical friends from Grand Teton Music Festival will join us

Summer Sing!
Grades 6-9

Led by beloved TMS instructor and JHMS Choir Director Melissa Elliott, this three-day small-group intensive helps students develop their unique voices, build ensemble skills, and explore singing techniques across styles with plenty of personal coaching and creative projects.

Summer Strings
Grades Rising 6-10

​

Led by Vince Gutwein, Director of Strings for Jackson Hole Middle Schools, Lisa Horst Schrock, Guest Clinicial from Vel Phililps Memorial High School (Madison WI), Summer Strings Camp is for students learning violin, viola, cello and bass. Campers will interact with world class musicians from Grand Teton Music Festival, participate in beginning and advanced classes, take a field trip to a GTMF dress rehearsal, and perform a Faculty/Student recital at the end of the week in GTMF's concert hall, Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village. Five days of music, skill building, ensemble play, friendship and activities!

 

No Instrument? No problem. Instruments are available on loan.

Arts Sampler
Grades K-2 & 3-5

Join Teton Music School, Dancers' Workshop, Off Square Theatre, and pARTners for a one-of-a-kind arts experience! Students will participate in four daily "mini-camps" with each organization to explore their creative side through music, dance theater, and visual art. This sampler will not only provide a complete creative experience, but will allow your student to find their future passions in the arts!
