Celebrating TMS Fest '24

This year’s TMS Fest '24 was a two-day celebration that perfectly encapsulated the heart, soul, and spirit of Teton Music School (TMS). From the intimate solos on Friday to the electrifying band performances on Saturday, TMS Fest was a joyful reminder of the power of music to bring people together and create lasting memories.

Friday Night: Solo Sessions

The festival kicked off with Solo Sessions on Friday night, where students from all studios shone brightly. It was a evening filled with creative collaboration and original works--a testament to the dedication of both the students and their teachers. Highlights included a dynamic duo of 7-year-old violinists performing "Eye of the Tiger," to open the show. Congratulations to TMS teachers Clay, Emma, Joe, Lynnette, Melissa, Molly, Susan, and Tom for guiding their students to such impressive performances and for fostering an environment where young learners can explore endless possibilities.

Saturday: Festival Stages

Saturday’s festivities saw TMS rock bands bringing down the house. Kudos to TMS bands team Taylor, Joe, Ed, Clint, and Melissa for mentoring their students and inspiring them to achieve what they didn't know they could. The energy was palpable as bands rocked the stage, supported by enthusiastic audiences. The bucket band added a fun twist, and it was awesome to see even the youngest audience members, including a head-banging 3-year-old sibling, get into the groove.

The Youth Choir, supported by Melissa and Lynnette, joined forces with Susan and Jam 55 in a heartwarming set that left everyone feeling uplifted. Tom gave voice to our friends from Community Entry Services with a singalong of "The Gambler" and an original song about bees. It was a beautiful example of how music can build community and bring people together.

A special shout-out to Tom, Joe, Clay, and Collin for bringing Cache Funk on the scene. Seeing our teachers perform is crucial for students, and the energy they brought to the stage was nothing short of inspiring.

Building Community

TMS Fest '24 was a true celebration of the diverse musical talents within our community. From private lessons to group performances, every moment of the festival was a reminder of why we do what we do. Thank you to everyone – students, teachers, and audience members – for sharing your talent and passion with TMS. Because of you, we are changing lives, reaching people of all ages, and building a stronger community through music.
