We made a brass band to march Old Bill's Fun Run with TMS teachers (and Executive Director Amanda Flosbach) to make some joyful noise. We had two musicians drive from Idaho Falls, volunteer their time, and camp out just to participate because they wanted to join us. Teachers, local musicians, and even one of our students made up the band.
Why?
Teton Music School is bursting at the seams with record-breaking fall enrollment, and we wanted to show our community that Music Education Matters!
Toddlers building brains wired for rhythm and language. Teens putting down their phones to make something together. Grownups dusting off an instrument, or picking up a new one. Professional musicians building a life by teaching here.
Our work needs space to be loud, scholarships to keep TMS open to every family, and pay that lets our teachers stay in Jackson. And you can help. Donations made through Old Bill's by September 18 are partially matched, so your support goes even further.
Please give as generously as you can.
