Meet Me at Midnight, II: A Taylor Swift Tribute

Last Saturday, something special happened on The Center Stage. Teton Music School hosted our second Taylor Swift Tribute concert that brought together student performers, faculty musicians, families, and community partners for a night of music, sequins, and pure joy—and the response was overwhelming.

Students Front and Center

The heart of the show was the student pop choir, directed by Melissa Elliott, whose vision and dedication elevated the entire event. Parents and audience members were moved by seeing young performers leading front and center on a professional stage. The message was clear: this was their show.

Backing them up was a faculty band featuring Joe Rudd, Taylor Upton, Clay Humphrey, and Ed Domer, who brought exceptional musicianship to every set while simultaneously coaching student performers through rehearsals and tech.

A Full Production — Down to the Sparkles

Great music deserves a great stage, and this show had one. Patrick and Pearson from The Center delivered outstanding lighting and sound, while MC Crazy Tom kept the energy electric between sets.

Community Effort

The show was a true community effort. GAP! provided fabulous costumes and ran a bracelet-making station that was a hit with younger attendees. Dancers' Workshop JRC energized the crowd as party-starters and backup dancers. Midnight Lunch outfitted the crew with custom trucker hats. Every piece made the night feel more complete.

Events like this are easy to celebrate in the moment, but the real measure is what they mean to the people involved. One cast member's family — who has navigated some significant personal challenges over the past year — described their child's experience performing in the show as life-changing. That's what Teton Music School is for.
